Open air performance
On a warm summer’s evening there’s nothing more joyful than sitting back with a glass of wine or a picnic to watch theatre in the open air. Birds flying overhead - even the odd burst of rain - only add to the fun, and when dusk falls and the theatre lighting kicks in, the effect is truly magical.
At Scene Three Creative we have produced and directed a huge range of outdoor theatre productions, from Romeo and Juliet at Canterbury Cathedral to Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens. We’ve also created open air Shakespeare productions for the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury and taken outdoor plays to village halls and open air spaces throughout Kent and Sussex.
