CINDERELLA Auditions 2019

auditions FOR ‘CINDERELLA’ AT BUXTON OPERA HOUSE 

If you are viewing this page, it should be because you have received an invitation for an an audition on Wednesday 17th July. Please do not turn up to audition if you have not been offered a specific time slot, as unfortunately our schedules are full.

At the audition you will meet writer/director Philip Dart, Scene Three Creative co-director Claudia Leaf, Musical Director Adam Gerber, Choreographer Tracey Iliffe and actor Taylor Mee (who will be reading in). The auditions will be held in The Men’s Club at St Gabriel’s Halls in Pimlico, which is just off Lupus Street (turn off by Pimlico Toy Library). The halls’ website with directions is here.

NOTE FOR ACTORS WHO AUDITIONED ON MONDAY 15th JULY: we have now emailed agents with requests for recalls for actors who were able to attend on 17th July. If you haven’t heard from your agent, then unfortunately we won’t be able to recall you tomorrow. Thanks very much for coming to audition and we look forward to meeting you at a future date.

ACTING ASM/UNDERSTUDY: Please download and familiarise yourself with this scene: ACTING ASM/UNDERSTUDY SIDE. You may also be asked to take part in a short dance call later in the afternoon.

SONGS:

Please prepare an upbeat pop song and a musical theatre ballad and bring your own sheet music (note that we may only ask for one song).
